The tenth annual Community Service Day was Saturday, April 22, 2023
2024 over 1000 volunteers served! 

500 plants were planted, mulched and cleaned up at Mile Square Park

Huntington Beach Wetlands had dozens of bags of trash removed

The HB Youth Shelter was cleaned inside and out, planting, mulch and bikes repaired

A storage container on the Bike path was painted with a mural

3 Huntington Beach signs were repainted and highlighted

The 200-yard wall at Greer Park was completely painted

Irby Park received volunteers to continue the landscape design

The house at Fountain Valley Heritage Park was painted on the outside with new wording

One home was cleaned out as tagged by HB Code enforcement

10,251 meals were assembled for Rise Against Hunger

100 Bears with blankets were made for Choc Hospital

Adult bibs were sewed for Alzheimer's Center

Oakview Library branch was weeded, cleaned and prepared for painting

Weeds were removed at Shipley Nature Center

Brush and weeds were cleared at the Therapeutic Riding Center

Classrooms and bathrooms were repaired and remodeled at the Kinetic Academy School

50 pints of Blood were donated to the Red Cross

FV Neighborhood clean up, removed large items through the area

Monarch Butterfly Trail was weeded, and the path created

Westminster Senior Center was cleaned and enhanced outside

Buckingham Park was cleaned up

Donations were made a Oasis Transitional Housing with a craft project for residents
