Come one, come all! Join us for an unforgettable day of fun, food, and festivities at our annual Community Picnic! We're thrilled to invite you to a day filled with laughter, music, and the warmth of community spirit.

🍔 Hungry? Don't worry, because the amazing cooks from the Kiwanis Club will be firing up the grills and serving delicious, mouthwatering treats to satisfy your cravings.

Volunteers who registered and served on a project in the morning at Community Service Day will receive a wristband for a free lunch.

🎪 But that's not all! Explore the variety of Nonprofit displays showcasing the incredible work being done right here in our community.

RALLY and Community Picnic
on Saturday, April 22, 2023

On Saturday, April 22,2023 Community Service Day volunteers arrived at HB Central Park Bandstand, behind HB Library between 7:30-8:00 am. Everyone had a complimentary breakfast, Wendy's egg/sausage breakfast biscuit, bananas, oranges, juice, and donuts. More than enough for everyone!

Tote bags were given out to all and T-shirts!

Everyone left to begin their service in 26 different projects.
The morning kickoff began with Chairman Jynene Johnson and Christy Hernandez gathering the community and welcoming Senator Janet Nguyen and HB City Councilwoman Natalie Moser to present a proclamation from the city supporting and encouraging civic volunteerism. The rally ended with warm-up exercises and a group photo
